Magical Statistics

Things that make the Kingdom [and beyond]

Today takes us over to Sunset Boulevard.
To the top of the Tip Top Club.
[And the boiler room. And the Twilight Zone. But that’s another story.]

As you are greeted to the gift shop, what is the first item that is at eye-level to the children?

Ding.
Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding.

DING.

Reception Bells.

Oh god. My ears.

Fun Fact of the Day:
In one minute, the reception bells were touched/played approximately 86 times.
Out of these 86 times, 63 of the ‘dings’ were from repeat offenders.

These repeat offenders ranged from the ages of 8-14.

Stay tuned for an estimate of how many dings take place in an hour.
Have a guesstimate?

Fun Fact of the Day:

In 5 minutes of sitting in Fantasyland, 97 strollers were improperly parked.
Of these strollers, about 45-47 were moved within two minutes of being left alone.
High five, Stroller Parkers.

Stay Smart, WDW.

What a better way to start Magical Statistics than ‘Staying in Character’ with the holiday just around the corner…

Ah, the Turkey Leg.

Gobble, gobble!

A right of passage, a tradition… for some.

Fun fact of the day:
1 Leg = 2,600 calories*
1 Leg = Approx. 28 large bites.
1 bite =  92 calories.

*According to Food Service, when asked on the Park Ops Radio.

[Would you believe out of the 43 that were sold between 17:00-18:00 today, 23 people posed for pictures with their poultry before, dare I say, gobbling it down?]

Stay Smart, WDW.
